Google also included HDR10+ support on the Pixel 8. Additionally, the device boasts stereo speakers and a noise-cancelling microphone for improved audio quality. As for its build, the Pixel 8 is made from an aluminum alloy chassis that is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, giving it an impressive usable surface of 86.7%.
Under the hood, the Google Pixel 8 is powered by the company’s own Tensor G3 processor, which is built on the 4nm process technology for optimal performance. The device is also equipped with 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 128GB or 256GB of UFS storage, depending on the user’s preference. As for benchmark performance, the Pixel 8 scored 1105000 on AnTuTu v10. Security-wise, the device comes with a fingerprint scanner embedded into the display. However, some users may find that the lack of a telephoto lens and lack of FM radio can be a setback.
